more than a vessel in a dock, ‘Queen MaryII’ at Blohm & Voss

Veröffentlicht in special maritime themes, Uncategorized am September 25, 2009 von Max Mueller

It is not my favorite typ of ship but the “Queen MaryII” is one of the last transatlantic liners operating for the English Cunard Line. In past the Queen visited Hamburg many a time and it was always more than a normal call when thousands of enthusiasts gave warm welcomes to the vessel either way she was passing by to dock at Blohm & Voss or only for a short stay during a cruise.

“Queen MaryII” is seen here drydocked at Blohm & Voss dock no.17 in november 2005.
